Our Team

Pastor Sam McLellan

​Pastor Sam arrived at First Baptist in December of 2024.  He is very excited for what Godis going to do at this church and in this family of God.  He is married to his wonderful wife Brittney and they spend a lot of their time together chasing after their 3-year-old son Wally.  

Pastor Sam graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and got his undergrad from Francis Marion University.   

He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking South Carolina state parks, reading about many different topics, and watching old movies.  

Donna Welch

​Donna Welch is our church's secretary. In May 2021, she will have been in this role for 11 years. She and her husband Mike have been married for 36 years. They have two daughters, Aimee and Cydney. Aimee is married to Seth Hammett who gave Donna her two grandsons, Preston and John David. Cydney is married to Tyler Boatwright.

Donna has been a member for more 20 years. 

When she is not busy working, playing with her grandkids, or hanging out with family she enjoys reading and decorating.
